After more than 25 years under Danish rally where we have tried just about most things, has won more races abroad and becoming National champion of 2 laps, tried to been on top when Yokohama championship had been decided several times and tried to been a major team with two cars and many people around us.

Several team people have over the years been involved, therefore we have also tried several have withdrawn from the team on grounds of family increases, new work and less leisure. These include it has made to our teamcheif Henrik Dernoff have chosen to resign as teamcheif in Escobar racing. Henrik will now always be welcome in the team for coffee and socialize.

Since we do not yet have a race calendar for 2011 ready, we have chosen to teamcheif chair deleted at our team, but chose to look for a mechanic more to the team who wants to meet with us once a week around our strengths baby,
a white Porsche 911 GT3 RS in rally trim.

We ended 2010 with displaying "the beast" rather than on the roads around Slagelse in its own class, but had to be removed with a broken drive axle and as you can see on the videos from the race on our website is gunpowder enough in the "VW".

Thank you to all who participated actively in making our dream come true, getting a Porsche 911 GT3 RS in Danish rally. It may have been economic, media coverage or "just" a helping hand, it has all meant a lot to us so thanks for
the help.

Connect have to say a Merry Christmas to you who have fully us through all the years and of course A HAPPY NEW YEAR, see you out there on the road in 2011 or maybe in the garage if you want to screw in a Porsche.

Henrik from the whole team a big thank you for your assistance over time in the team.

Danish Championship finals with mixed feelings

Photo: f-service.dk

The finale of the Danish Championship of the rally on Saturday was held on roads around Slagelse, was in many ways a success for Escobar Racing, despite the fact that it unfortunately did not manage the team from Køge that when all the way to the end.
Finalists in Slagelse, it had been opened a class for GT cars, which meant that Escobar Racing for the first time since the team bought your Porsche 911 GT3, now supposed to be running into a round of the Danish Championship in rally.

Team Owner Lars Kragh and co-driver Jess Larsen had before the start of the race completed the

strategy that it is primarily applied to get the car back home in mint condition, but also to test it on different surfaces as Bygma Rally 2010 in Slagelse offered.

Lars Kragh: We had a really good day in Slagelse and got really tested our car in different circumstances than we are accustomed to. Throughout the day, Jess and I had good cooperation in the car and quickly found the rhythm.
Sample after sample improved our times and was number 11 overall, when we at last lap of the very last speed test had to throw in the towel. A broken drive shift meant unfortunately for us we had to pull us out of the race. Of course it is super honest to be deleted so close to the race end, but that's motor racing unfortunately sometimes
ends Lars Kragh.

The race was the last in the calendar Escobar Racing in 2010 and now the coming winter months used to examine the car have made it ready for season 2011.

Porsche GT3 to the start of the Danish Rally finale.

This coming weekend run last year branch of the Danish Championship in rally.
Bygma Rally 2010 which takes place on roads around Slagelse is pre-destined to be one hell of a rally-finals, where especially the top names in Danish Rally Sport can look forward to a very tough fight on last years championship points.

The entire 67 rally teams have reported your arrival to the race - including 2 teams from Sweden and seen with the organizer's eyes this time in Slagelse Autosport, it must certainly be said to be a positive development in an otherwise economically hard-hit sport that so many teams make the start on Saturday.

Especially one of the enrolled rally teams look forward to the race with a very positive light.
Escobar Racing from Køge, which have been assigned starting number 21, made off with your beautiful Porsche 911 GT3 rally car in Slagelse.

It has succeeded in Slagelse Auto Sports in cooperation with the Danish Confederation Rally to open a class for GT cars in the Danish Rally Sport, making them very audience friendly GT cars now running for points in Danish Rally Sport.

Team Manager Henrik Dernoff says:n Escobar Racing, we see it certainly as a very positive development in the Danish Rally Sport that it has opened the possibility of this type of rally cars can now run with the Danish rallies. "We are the only rally team in the Nordic countries have a Porsche GT3 rally car, but at the same time that there are many more of the same kind outside Denmark's borders. With the opening of this class in Denmark we are confident that

more foreign inward rally teams in the future will seek to Danish skies and thus help to strengthen the Danish Rally Sport in the future" concludes Henrik Dernoff.

The race starts on Saturday 6. November am. 8.00 from Dinitrol in Trafikcenter All.

911 GT3 RS for using in rally

foto: Brian Juel

It was like Christmas Eve, the September day in 2009, we were handed our Opel Corsa Super1600 and came to stand a Porsche 911 GT3 RS in the garage instead. It stood in the wrong colors, but one Porsche.

After the first intoxication had subsided, we came down to work and got the old commercials and made the car ready for the painter. Home from the painting came a fine white car, which now have marks on so it was a really Escobar racemachine.

Part of the old partners would unfortunately not be in it anymore and a new pair arrived. Our team colors were also changed from red/white to white/ red. A Porsche 911 GT3 RS (996), its first of its kind in rally trim in the nordic countries.

We are excited little bolts and moved a little bracket and then we were ready to try the car "on the load." It would be a blow to a mini-rally as open wagon.

It was a car that could be heard and received favorable comment from the audience along with the samples, it would like to see more.

The first April was a day of Passover and the tradition runs that YM and it is in Frederikssund on a good track in sydbyen. It was a nice attraction for spectators and cars. We were curious how it would go, it was the first time in true race with 911'eren.

....

DM, we currently have. could only participate in the open wagon, but here there has also been considerable interest in 911'er. By DM-finals in Slagelse 6th November will mark the first time that it opened a class for GT cars. So we will participate.

2010 season has given us positive and negative experiences. We've had some technical challenges with the gearbox which has teased us a lot. Then after it's been okay went the pulley loose and was flung from the test ride at the rallysprint in Gammelrand near Kalundborg. An error which is not even normal for the car.
We also had another challenge in getting muffled exhaust the permissible max 103 dB and Lars got his challenge with a couple of months without a job, but is now moving again.

In 2010, we participated in:
• YC1 in Frederikssund
• The Motor Show at the Carlsberg
• Rally sport day at Lerchenborg
• DC1 in Kjellerup which open wagon
• RallySprint in Gammelrand near Kalundborg
• DC5 in Slagelse in new opened the GT class.
For season 2011 the team look to, to get out and show rally Porsche forward to a good race. Hope to see you out there.

Good start of the season for Escobar Racing.

Maundy Thursday was the year in motor sport's character as
1st Department of Yokohama championship east of the Great Belt was settled in Frederikssund.

Escobar Racing helped start and it was also the first race this year for Koge-fighters. Yes indeed it was the first real race at all for the team in the Porsche 911 GT3 that was purchased in late summer last year.

Nerves sat just outside on the clothes before the start was because it did not really had trained any further with the new car.
But as the day progressed, it became quickly clear to the team owner Lars Kragh that with rear-wheel drive might not be such a bad thing.

Nine cars were registered in the same class as Lars Kragh and second runs Jess Larsen, who had fought so hard for the seconds right from the first meters.

Throughout the day had Lars Kragh a very close match with Steen Andersen in Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 7 and Johnny Pedersen of the BMW M3, which of course featured fast-paced race of great jubilation for the audience.

But the big surprise for the whole crew in Escobar Racing ended the day with a

class victory, which of course was greeted with a certain pride in the team.

Overall, the team had an excellent day in Frederikssund, although the weather gods had not fully thought out to make his debut easier for Lars Kragh and the new car.
