Yes - again Benny Pedersen again showed his skill behind a steering wheel - and class GENERAL victory - super run Finale of Benny Pedersen in his Peugeot 106 - this day was not on the side or above him - Benny was just the best on the day, end of quote. He got together with Anders Lysen restart in 1st Heat due to some people, who withdrew from candy to a photocell, but Benny showed masterly driving in all heat, so the victory was fully deserved, he ought to have something faster equipment. Anders Lysen also ran a great Finale in his cheeky Suzuki Swift 1600 Maxi, and Anders fought hard with Lars Kragh on 2nd rank in the class, but Lars Kragh was on the day just one tooth faster, and got a full-deserved 2nd place with homes, and a generally 4th in his beautiful Opel  Corsa Super 1600.
Mood in this class are high, and jargon and black humor running in the best style - with such a wonderful sense of humor among the participants - again - when the helmet and tighten our minds disappear - they are competitors, fair enough!

Pilegaard goes to Escobar Racing

It took only one month, then had Escobar Racing from Koege found a new service man for the coming season.
The team in 2009 will participate in the chambers of Yokohama championship east of the Great pleased to note that they have an agreement in place with Morten Pilegaard.
Morten Pilegaard is 31 years old and lives on a daily basis in Herfoelge with his wife Mia and your common Sunday at 3, which can already look forward to being big brother in February next year.

 
Morten trained locksmith, and to work daily in the company Powerstow which is housed in Tjaereby at Roskilde. The company is specialized in producing cars, including used at the airport to carry luggage on board aircraft with.

Morten Pilegaard: I am looking forward very much to be a part the team behind Escobar Racing. My great interest in motor sport are just doing that I always keeps me informed about what happens inside of this sport. I have especially in full with what has been written about Escobar Racing, because this is a local rally team. I've already met most of the rare people who are in the team and has also seen the-art studio where I can henceforth be pleased to meet with the team and hopefully can help make a difference, ending Morten Pilegaard

In addition to its great interest in motor sport is Morten Pilegaard also an avid practitioner of underwater rugby.
And then of course there must also be equal time for the family, which of course can look forward to getting a new member in early 2009.
The team currently working to obtain sponsors for next season, but may look forward to a long and well deserved Christmas holidays, before they meet again in garage, 12 January.

DASU's AutoSport nr. 9

Henning Fabricius and Lone General Otto took the victory with 34/1000 of a second ahead of Anders Lysen in the Suzuki Swift 1600 MAXI after a very close battle all day long. Johnny Pedersen, BMW M3 was unfortunate to lose a wheel in the 3rd heat, which put him out of medal shaper. Fabricius was the winner of Class 1 and Anders Lysen took the victory in Class 3 with 8 seconds down to Lars Kragh, Opel Corsa S1600. Lars was generally 3rd.

The race was won by Benny Pedersen, Esbjerg, the Peugeot 106 1.6. The silver went to Escobar racing, Opel Corsa Super 1600, with Lars Kragh and Jess Larsen ended the day as number 2 in the class with the lead of 7 seconds to Anders Lysen, who ran his Suzuki Swift 1600 Maxi into 3rd place.

Escobar teamet from Koege tend to have some fun and hard bleak recognition analysis from Anders Lysen from Soroe and was anxious to get revanche of the last race in Naestved, where Anders drew the longer straw. They had prepared themselves for that Benny Pedersen would be a tough emergency to crack, but that he was so quick, and even won over general, came as a surprise to the Koege team.

Silver for Escobar Racing.

Sunday noon at 8 am arrives Escobar Racing to Nyborg on the island of Funen, where the finals in Yokohama championship were driven.
A finale in which the East had to compete against the West Denmark, which no one never had tried before.


The team had prepared themselves thoroughly at home, and appeared to Super1600 your Opel Corsa was combative, but all in Escobar racing was well aware that competition would be very hard.
The team is accustomed to having some fun and hard bleak with Anders Lysen from Soroe in the Suzuki Swift 1600 Maxi was keen to get revanchist of the last race in Naestved, where Anders drew the longer straw. again a hard fight for second in the class. Lars was a bit slow to get sleep out of eyes, and might see them beaten with a big margin by Anders in the 1st Heat. But then woke team owner from Koege up, and drove really nice sometimes the rest of the day.
Lars Kragh and Jess Larsen ended the day as No. 2 in class after Benny Pedersen, and with a lead for Anders analysis of 7 seconds, who ran his Suzuki into 3rd space.

The team can now look forward to a long winter break and at the same time look back on a year of both the up and downs.
Overall, we Escobar Racing very satisfied with the years who are about to be passed and is pleased now to open a new motorseason in 2009.

Escobar Racing, ready for the final

The finale in Yokohama championship, the place where East meeting West, runs Sunday, the 2nd of  October in Nyborg on the island of Fyn.
Many teams have already signed up for the course. Among also Escobar Racing from Køge, which makes starting with their Opel Corsa SUPER 1600.

The team has just won a championship Yokohama east in class from 1400-1600 cc, is very pleased to come to Nyborg and compete against some other teams than they usually meet in races on Zealand. Many really good drivers  with their super fast cars have reported their arrival, so there's no question other than to compete for a top position becomes very hard.

The team would prefer not predict the outcome in advance, but intends to do a good profile and running after a good result, in which Escobar Racing will be the last race in this season.
The car has undergone a last check, so the team is ready to take against Nyborg an early Sunday morning.

Escobar Racing gør status.

It is now starting more than 22 years ago, that team owner Lars Kragh found its first leaflet in English motorsport.
Ever since then has been great ambitions and expectations even higher to reach the optimum in the rally sport. Many different brands have been tested and the number of races and events is in Escobar Racing long ago ceased to keep track of.
The first few rich years was run in different models of brands such as: Ford, Fiat, Simca, Renault and Citroen, but when it succeeded Lars Kragh to get a big sponsorship in place with Citroen Sport Europe was Lars by Citroen for some years.
But a director change in the top of Citroen Denmark in 1999, unfortunately, that Citroen wanted to withdraw completely from Danish rally.
Lars had for many years been the dream of booting the rally team as we know it today: "ESCOBAR-RACING", and therefore decided to Lars season in 2004 was the year when the dream would be implemented. Then in autumn 2003, Lars Kragh down and produce an action plan in the future. 5 years are now starting to be gone, and so it is now appropriate to look back at the years that have elapsed.

In 2004, Lars bought a Peugeot 106 car kit, Jan Kristensen, who had won the Danish Championship in years past.
Expectations were not great in the first year because it just had to adjust to the new car.
Expectations were to finish in the top 3 in Yokohama Cup, but the combination of car and driver, actually went so well that the team could call themselves champions in their first years in the Peugeot.

2005 was the year when the team got the bid to buy a car builded for racing an Opel Kadett GSi by Martin Andreasen from Kalundborg. Although the team only had the car delivered after the 1st. round of Yokohama championship, it nevertheless succeeded Lars & Jess to join in a 2.plads in the championship, and it was also a nice 4th place overall in the rally printed in Old Rand same year. So it has been a successful year for the team from Køge.

2006 was the year as a whole team behind Escobar Racing likes to look back on with a big smile on the lips.
The team had grown to an 2 - car team, as the young and talented Martin Pedersen from Kalundborg had contracted with Escobar Racing for a 2 year period. Lars Kragh had long gone with the idea of finding a young rally talent, as he is with his many years of experience and expertise could be used to help forward the rally sport.
Another Yokohama championship was won, but that team that year also could call themselves Danish Campion the rally in gr H, continue their careers as absolute peak.

In 2007, The Opel Kadetts had to give way to the newer Opel Corsa Super 1600. A real racing was built by Ray Mallock Engineering in England. Lars and Jess spent, however,most of the 2007 season to get used to the new car, but was at the year end, however, become so comfortable with the fact that they now thought they could get more benefit from the Corsa it has a great potential in the coming season. The result was a 2nd place in Yokohama championship, after a very close battle with Bjørn Wullf in a Peugeot 106 Maxi. That

same year contract expired with Martin Pedersen, who now even believed that it was time to try to stand on their own. Lars had enjoyed working with Martin and wishes him success in the future.

2008 is now starting to be a closed chapter. It has been years in which Escobar Racing has been forced to slow down a bit. The reason for this has in particular been an excessive workload on Lars Kragh as the daily work as a sales manager at Nissan Nordic Europe, but also a marriage and family increase has been instrumental in this decision.
It was also the year when Escobar Racing entered into collaboration with Chevrolet on that building rally car.
The purpose of this collaboration was to build a competitive car for reasonable money, and thus help to help more young people into our sport. Media interest in the project has been enormous, but sales of cars have unfortunately not proceeded as expected.

The team was able Sunday 19th of October to get another championship of Yokohama, and is now up to run the finals on the overall Danish Yokohama championship in 2008, which takes place in Nyborg on the island of Fyn, the 2nd November.

It is now time for Escobar Racing to sit down and have produced a new action plan for the coming year, but looking back at the level Lars Kragh did in 2003, then the whole team behind the team just is happy.
Everything that was written for 5 years ago is fully to the letter, and just need to put things into practice end, is something we Escobar Racing weighs very high.
The team will continue to work with talents and hope to other teams would follow.
It is important for the future of our sport that there is someone to take over when the old ones at a time have to pull back.
The experience gained over time, is important to communicate to the young future riders.
Team Owner Lars Kragh, and co-driver Jess Larsen and team chief Henrik Dernoff is currently finalizing the planning of the 2009 season, and who knows what happens in Escobar next year, perhaps a new young talent in racing Escobar, perhaps Lars and Jess take a year more! Only the time will show.

Escobar Racing Yokohama champion in 2008

Sunday was the 4th round of Yokohama championship east of the Great settled on Rainbow Ring in Næstved and the same day secured Escobar Racing from Køge to another Yokohama championship in the class of 1401-1600 cc.
Escobar Racing led the championship before the start and could actually be satisfied with a position as No 4th in the class to be able to call themselves champions of this year.
The team would like to repeat the success of the 3rd round in Ørslev, where it was a nice class victory, but had put home a very clear strategy on that at no time would put a possible championship over the steering.

Teamcheif Henrik Dernoff: We are delighted to have won the championship in our class.

We had before starting a sensible point of delivery and had agreed that we would run tactical and strong, without putting anything at risk.
Lead was 10 points to Anders Lysen in the Suzuki Swift s1600 and we showed that we had to finish in the top 4 in class to guarantee us a championship. It was really gone for racing today. We usually have some strong individual fight with Anders Lysen, but today we just had to note that Anders was faster.
Championship secured us simultaneously a place in the finals to run in Nyborg on 2nd of November. Here East battle with the West.
We are pleased very much for that. It will be fun to come over and compete against some other teams joining Henrik Dernoff

In addition to a 2nd place in the class today, Escobar Racing handed it simultaneously for a 3rd space in general.
Race was also won by Henning Fabricius in Mitsubishi Lancer with a margin of just 34 / 1000 seconds ahead of Anders Lysen, Sorø.

Escobar Racing ready to defend flyover.

When the 4th round of Yokohama championship east runs on Sunday 19 October at Rainbow Ring in Næstved, it will be once again with the participation of Escobar Racing from Køge.

The team leading the championship in the class ahead of Anders Lysen, Sorø, in the Suzuki Swift, is extra keen to repeat the success of the 3rd round in Ørslev, where it was a nice class victory.

The stage in Næstved, which is 1300 meters long each round has never previously been used in Yokohama championship.
The tournament management's website described the stage as "a really racing track” and the whole team behind Escobar Racing is very pleased to test the runway.

Co-driver Jess Larsen says: We look forward very much to be driving in Næstved. We shall down and defend our guidance in the championship, and we know from experience that one should not sit back in their seats and relax just because you are No 1. We always drive on the principle that it is full attack from the start and then we can relax when we have crossed the chequered flag. We are well aware there is fierce competition from the other, but we

Escobar Racing - back in front.

Escobar Racing is again back in the front in the fight for the championship, after the fine stage win in the weekend, where 3rd round of YOKOHAMA of the championship was settled in an industrial zone in Ørslev just north of Vordingborg.
The smoking faith should be run 4 heats and the sample was an old favorite, as it was the same stage as was used in 1st round of DC2008 in the rally earlier in the year.
There was, however, this time included a part with gravel to the great pleasure of some of the many registered teams.
The team's solid co-driver Jess Larsen was once again back in the seat after the accident earlier this year, and both he and the driver Lars Kragh was extremely pleased with the cooperation and was rapidly becoming the old rhythm again.

Lars Kragh: It was a very good weekend for us. I was extra keen to run a class victim with home this time, although I was well aware that it would be difficult with the strong competition there is in our class. But all clapped just and the car drove perfect. It is a super good and very quick test perfect fit for my riding style, and we are obviously extra glad this victory, because it brought us back at the 1st place in the championship. We now have a lead of 10 points to the

Escobar Racing is ready to start

Summer holidays are over and the team Escobar Racing is ready to start the rest of motorsport season 2008.
Sunday, 31th of august go further resolved when the team draw against South Sealand where Ring South take place of the 3. round of YOKOHAMA championship, east of the Great Belt.
No less than 74 participating have reported their arrival, so the battle for the top position becomes very hard.

Very many good and fast teams have chosen to use this Sunday, for testing the material and get refined form, before the next section of the DC in the rally is running in 14 days.
In Escobar Racing has spent some of the summer break to get the team Opel Corsa Super1600 checked through.
The new engine was rebuild before SUZUKI rally sprint in Soroe, has surprised team owner Lars Kragh positive, and both he and co-driver Jess Larsen, which is recovered from the accident in the spring, welcomes very much to get started again after a long holiday.
The team hopes that the weather will be sunny this Sunday, when sun usually attracts more supporters and simultaneously makes the competition even more closely and fair.
